Hello Dear Fashion Lovers,
It’s Finally Time to be a part of this amazing Blogging World &
Rock it!! You can’t even guess how excited I am to do this.
This being my first Blog I wanted to start it with one of my
OWN Creations. YES!!
Well, I have just graduated in Fashion Designing & this outfit
is what I had designed for the Annual Fashion Show of my College.
Talking about the Story behind “THE BLUE OF PINK CITY” –
As the name suggests it is inspired from the ancient BLUE POTTERY ART of the
Pink City JAIPUR.
Blue Pottery is widely recognized as a
traditional craft of Jaipur, though it is Turko-Persian in origin. The name Blue Pottery comes
from the eye-catching blue dye used to colour the pottery.
It is basically a Maxi Panelled Skirt or you could call it a Silted
Skirt, which is digitally printed with some Indian Geometric Motifs (taken from the motifs of the pottery art) & the Centre
Applique that is directly inspired from the Murals of The Beautiful CITY PALACE
of JAIPUR.
It took a lot of efforts to digitally create this patterns and also
design the layout for the same. It’s a great combination of Indian Prints & Western
Silhouette that is most suitable for any Indian Function/Party, where your urge
to become an Indo-Western Queen is fulfilled.
Coming to the Styling part of it, the top wear designed for this ravishing skirt was a very chic off-shoulder crop top in White with Full sleeves but I  chose styled
it with this very simple Tank top from ONLY India.
It goes best with a lot of chunky oxidised ornaments, especially
with antique looks. I had them all from my mother’s treasure box, for our
inherited love for Oxidised Jewellery. Also the very rustic hand cuffs are from
my mother’s collection since 1950s.
I have loved this very quirky 25 Paisa Coin earring from
Accessories by Noopur based in vadodara, Gujarat –   that really compliments the whole look.
I decided to complete this look with minimal makeup & chose
the classic L’Oréal Black
Cherry Lip Colour.
I am glad to mention that our collection own the BEST COMMERCIALLY
VIABLE AWARD at the Annual Fashion Show of my college.
Well, this is all
for now. This was my first attempt at fashion blogging and I would love to know
your feedback! Do like and comment below and miss me until next time! ;)Love,
Vishwa
