Hello Dashing People,
Welcome back to my new blog story. I am so happy &
excited for the approaching festive season. Don’t we all want to look our best
for the festivals and weddings? I make it a point to pre-plan on my outfits for
the best of occasions and I think everybody must be doing that, no-one likes
those last minute hustles.
Today I am going to share my most favorite look!
You know it’s that time of the year when weddings and
festivals take over your social calendar. While you have bought your
traditional Ghaghara & Sari with a sexy Blouse for some occasions, it’s
cocktail outfit that is often the trickiest. Luckily, the cocktail party is one
function where you can give your Indian wear a rest.
All you have to do is GO CLASSY! How?? I’ll tell you.
Go classy with an Ankle Length dress. Let it be as simple as
it can be. Also let the silhouette be simple, but make sure it is feminine
& elegant enough. A Cocktail dress doesn’t always have to a LBD. There are
way more beautiful colours to adorn and look as classy.
You don’t really have to go for that Typical Diamond
Necklace, with those elbow length gloves & a large Solitaire ring. No
Victorian era now… I agree they have been the traditional Cocktail Dress
Staples, but this time let’s go traditional in an Indian Way and be as brazen.
So, let me tell you this blog story is in collaboration with
ADDERY FASHION HOUSE, based in Mumbai. It is handled by three pretty sisters,
who have stylish, modern outfits for all the fashion lovers around.
I grabbed this Crimson beauty from their exhibition in my
town. And the minute I saw it, I knew I wanted to style it this way. It is like
in a very simple silhouette – a straight, high neck, sleeveless, ankle length
dress with one side thigh-high slit (oh-so-sexy) & ultra-luxe fabric. As in
it is stretchy enough to take the curves of your body. I am so much in love
with the colour. It’s so bright & trendy for a cocktail party. Team it with
those Emerald elegance and you be the most attractive in the party. A three
layer Emerald stone necklace and some Jadau Emerald glaze Earrings. The
contrast of colours makes a classy combination. Both the jewelry pieces come
from a local shop in Jaipur, India. Complete the look with a messy side bun and
give a little sassy upgrade to the look. Black stilettoes are every girl’s best
friends, keep it understated with them. Apply the classy red lip colour and win
the world!
So dear ladies, isn’t it so simple to rock a cocktail look
with just the right amount of colour & accessorizing.
I’ll be up with more outfits from ADDERY FASHION HOUSE. Till then, do follow them and grab some beautiful stuff for yourself.
Stay Tuned.
