“Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” Miranda Priestley’s famed catty retort from The Devil Wears Prada may live on in infamy, but it’s been proven false time and time again.

Fashion’s ongoing love affair with floral prints continues for Spring 2016 with bright pastel colours and vibrant hues, all of which are some variation of the garden theme.

For those less willing to live in bloom all season long, the floral trend still continues from previous years with printed pants, mini-dresses, skirts, and everything else retailers can put a flower on. Florals are all about having fun with fashion and embracing the joy and romance of spring. Perhaps this is why the floral trend is one that just won’t go away.

A playful attitude emerges for spring, as florals are amplified with a big, bold intensity to catch the eye with vibrant colours. This trend adds a striking statement to womenswear styles.

We’re loving florals for spring, especially the ones this season by FLORRIE FUSION in their new SS16 Collection. Ditsy florals inspire notions of the springtime prairie, in delicate repeat patterns. Classic flower motifs take on a modern freshness when applied to clean white bases.

Here are my 3 top picks from their amazing collection & that’s definitely going to bring out a wonderfully feminine side to fashion after winter’s more graphic looks.

It’s a button down floral shirt which is extremely versatile. A perfect piece to carry all round the day. I decided to wear it with a Pink Sheath Dress as a layering and not merely as a shirt. Adding that colour character to the whole look with my yellow heels & vintage bag. Not to forget the gold tone belt that clings around my waist. It adds up to the feminine quotient overall.

Childhood is back again with lots of awe-inspiring outfits when we used to wear same pattern outfits. Matching fashion trends for women is back again to retouch the wardrobe – called the Co-Ord sets or Twin sets.

This particular Co-ord set has a Slip top that looks quite inspired from the 90’s & a 3/4th shorts with pom-pom lace deets at the hem. I really find this very cute in itself & dint really want to mess with the look. So I went simple with my chunky bracelet & block white heels, to let the florals dominate.

This Cute little Peplum shirt is super comfy and casual & moreover could be worn in many different ways. Check out how I went completely casual with this pretty shirt, teaming it up with my denim skirt & gold bagpack.
