Hello Pretty People,
I am sure all of you are so excited for Diwali. Even I am, but I am more excited about what I have for you guys today & also a lot more things coming up next on blog.
So I have for you today is a rule breaking fashion outfit. What does that even mean?!!
What colours would you normally wear for Diwali? Red ranks first, the Emerald Green, Royal Blue (as people call it), Yellow, Pink… … basically all bright colours that are considered traditional enough for Diwali. Agree, don’t you?!
So today we go a little contradict to the fact that everyone wants to wear traditional colours for Diwali. Grab a look at this pretty pretty dress that I am wearing. It’s from RJ by RADHIKA JINDAL – a very creative designer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
It’s the season to pastels & you must all know the fact that I am gaga over the pastel trends. And I am gona continue with this trend also for the traditional most festival of India.
Don’t you think the bright pastel greenish-yellow that’s turning into a bright pastel turquoise is just adding up to the freshness of festivity?!! It kind of gives a hint of Ombre effect to it, but it’s not exactly ombre. Well I am still loving it. Also the floral top of the dress in yellow base is making it look vintage. Love that fact about it. Not to forget the gold net collar adding so much festive drama to it.
Because the dress itself is very glamorous, I dint really wanted to add a lot of jewellery & make it look gaudy. So thought of adding some real amazing statement pieces – like that Ae-TEE Tika & Hand Chain in Gold & Diamond stud with the hint of turquoise drop bead. Isn’t it completely rocking the look?
Finishing my look with sky high catwalk gold heels & my red lip colour to oomph it up.
#staytuned for much more in store for you.
